PROJECT STATUS
Planning
We’re in the beginning stages of this project. While you may not see anything happening yet, this phase can involve steps such as land acquisition, the hiring of architects and contractors, the creation of design and construction documents and building a project schedule.
Breaking ground
The planning phase is complete and we’re ready to start construction. This means you’ll start to see fencing, trailers and equipment appear on the site as we prepare to begin construction.
Construction
It’s time to get to work on building this new, important investment for our students and our community.
Completion
We did it! Thanks to the support of the 27J Schools community, this project has been completed as promised. Thank you for helping us build strong schools for strong communities.

- Completion of Renovation of Existing CTE Space: 2023
- Architect: Eidos Architects
- Contractor: Saunders Construction
- Owners Representative: Wember, Inc.
NEW CONSTRUCTION
The Brighton High School STEM/CTE center will include a construction lab, engineering lab, culinary lab, certified nursing assistant/phlebotomy/EKG, biomed, sports medicine/personal training, small engine, welding, information technology, audio visual production space and more.
