Teachers Matter.

Think back. Who was your favorite teacher?

Think about how that teacher made you feel in their classroom; what they did that had such an impact on you. Maybe you didn’t have just one favorite teacher.  Maybe you had two or five! We all remember ours. We remember because teachers matter.

We carry those names with us, because teachers are more than what they taught. They were sense-makers in how we thought and saw the world. Teachers matter.

Teachers believe in us. They challenge us to grow. They set high expectations and show us how to reach them. They care—not just about you doing well in class but how well you do in life. Teachers matter.
