Not long ago, 27J Schools staff told us they wanted to be better informed of what’s happening in the district, the decisions we’re facing, the issues we see on the horizon and that they’d also like to see more district updates in one place.
So we’re introducing an employee e-newsletter called Class Act.
In this bi-monthly publication, you’ll find stories on things like:
- The 2022 Mill Levy Override Community Oversight Committee and what that group says about how we’re spending the Mill Levy money approved by taxpayers. We’ll share their perspectives and what “a-ha’s” they have when they dig into the data around our programs.
- We’ll also look at school safety as that continues to be a hot topic with our staff and voters. We’ll keep you posted on what new structures and staff are put in place to stand-up a full Safety and Security Department.
- An early look at the district’s budget information and how our priorities are being set for funding in the coming year.
We’ll also provide important updates as issues and situations arise throughout the year and we’ll take some time to celebrate the successes of our staff.
Most importantly, this newsletter is your newsletter. We’ll provide feedback opportunities each edition for you to tell us what you like, what you don’t like and what we can do more (or less).
