BEA President Kathey Ruybal presents Josh Linville, teacher, with a Reaching Out award during the Winter 2021 staff recognition ceremony.

Results from the 2021 survey of all 27J Schools employees show we have a lot to celebrate!

The survey—which focused on employees’ feelings about things like the district’s vision, values, and sense of community—highlighted many areas staff feel the district excels in:

  • The vast majority of staff agreed that 27J Schools operates under clear, strong and meaningful values.
  • There was strong agreement from the majority of staff that they feel a shared sense of commitment, community, and cohesion within their work teams.
  • The majority of staff reported strong agreement that the district embodies transparency/openness/trust/honesty.

Statements which received a particularly high rating of agreement from the majority of 27J employees include the following:

  • “I care for others, and others care for me.”
  • “Everyone in our school/department has a voice in the decisions that impact our school.”
  • “Working in this school/department is like being part of a team—all for one and one for all.

While we continue our efforts to provide the best possible work environment for our employees,  we are proud that so many of our staff feel positively about their experience working in 27J Schools.
